Parenting isn’t at all a simple job. Once you have a baby that baby pretty much becomes your morning, noon and night. Although parenting is a blessing, sometimes it will get to you. Somedays you won’t look at your situation as a happy or blessed one and this is perfectly okay. Don’t push these feelings down and ignore them and don’t feel guilty for having them. They are normal. Here are three feelings you’re bound to feel as a mother.
- You’ll Feel Tired – This is an obvious feeling you’ll have. Being a mother will beat the heck out of you sometimes. A child never stops needing and you have to be the constant provider. You’ll have to wake them up in the morning, serve them breakfast, drive them to school, take them to doctors appointments, help them with their homework, cook them dinner and put them to bed. Parenting is a full time job that never ends.
- You’ll Feel Discouraged – Raising a child is just like going on a roller coaster ride, it has its upsides and it’s steep falls.Sometimes you will feel discouraged. You’ll see your child make mistakes that will make you questions your abilities of a parent. Keep in mind that nobody is perfect and that even your children will stray off from the path you are setting up for them.
- You’ll Feel Sad – Parenting isn’t the best thing in the world. It is amazing, but sometimes you’ll miss the simpler times. You’ll miss having the freedom to go out and get wild. To just stay in bed all day and do nothing. You can’t do this anymore as a parent and some days you’ll feel trapped. You’ll be so busy trying to give them a good life that yours will be lost and seem like just stray memory.
